Novo Nordisk Care Program

A program designed to support patients prescribed select Novo Nordisk medicines, who meet specific financial criteria and do not have access to private or public drug insurance.

Care program

Your Novo Nordisk Sales Representative is available to provide you with printed or digital Novo Nordisk Care Program benefit cards for patients.

Using the benefit card, patients can easily apply for the Novo Nordisk Care Program online or by telephone.  If a patient is eligible for the program, their benefit card is activated and ready to use within 2 hours.

Patients simply present their activated benefit card along with their prescription to a pharmacy of their choice.

Eligible patients receive 12 months of ongoing support which covers the cost of select Novo Nordisk medicine(s) as well as standard mark-ups & dispensing fees equivalent to those paid by the various provincial public payers.  Please note that patients may be responsible for any additional charges at the pharmacy.

Prior to a patient’s benefit card expiring, a Novo Nordisk Care Customer Service team member will contact the patient to re-enrol them into the program.  Patients must still meet the eligibility criteria in order to be re-enroled.
